 Assalam-o-Alaikum, My name is Zia Tabarak Right now I'm Rawalpindi If we talk about Punjabi breakfast ,cuisine then you won't find a better place than Kartarpura's Food Street This why we are here today 7:00-7:30 AM is peak breakfast time there This food street is open 24 hours Especially the Bala Tikka House which is packed at night and in Ramadan when this place is bustling We'll start exploring now, have our breakfast , share it all with you So Let's Go! They have Paya here Mutton Paya(Trotters) .Kofta (Meatballs) Gurjanwala's famous Chanay What's this? 

These are Friend Chanay (Chickpeas) Fried Chanay are quite famous from here And what's this? These are Khoye Wale Chanay (Khoa Chickpeas) What should try? Our specials are Khoa Chana, Nihari . Paye What does Khoye wale chanay mean? These are prepared in Khoa with Mutton But you don't add the meat in it? We do but it breaks down in the gravy We add milk in it afterwards So the mutton breaks down . mixes in the gravy like Haleem  I thought there will be solid piece of meat in this Khoa Chana but it breaks down in the meat.

 I have never tried Khoa Chanay before And the thing I love the most about here are these Naans These Till (Sesame) Naans are so good here in Punjab, specially in Kartarpura They're so good.you can't find them anywhere else They've also added milk . fresh cream in it They're very soft . delicious The meat has completely mixed in the gravy which gives it a great taste These are Gujranwala's special Chanay .

it's their branch here in Kartarpura I'll try this just with a spoon now They have a rich taste . they instantly melt in your mouth Sufi ji's Chanay with Till (Sesame) Naans are awesome How much is a plate? Rs. 120 They have total 36 branches . Gujranwala is the orign of this place They also have Lassi here. You're making Lassi? What's your name? Ali Ali make some lassi for me Ali is Ashfaq's son Do you know how to make lassi? No How are you? So from Mutton Chana we're now at Sindhu ji's Fried Chana 

They also had Fried Chana but this place is older The last time I came here I visited this place but didn't try it So I decided to try them out today We can have these without Naan too right? Yeah but Naan or Paratha enhances it's taste They've got Fried Green Chilies too. They are deep-fried They'll top it with Achaar .Fried Green Chillies They have some good toppings for it How much is 1 plate? Full plate is Rs.100 .Single is Rs.60 This one's single? No this one's Full So these are Sindhu ji's Fried Chanay and it's toppings look mouth-watering It has Achaar, Onions, Raita . these Green Chilies . Potatoes on top and all this looks really tempting. Let's try it with Naan Let's try it with some Carrot Achaar This tastes great. 

These are fried chickpeas so they're a bit spicy The Mutton Chana we had before was creamy, milky . less spicy This is the opposite of it They give an amazing spicy taste with Achaar .Raita  You can have it like if you want to These deep fried chilies, onions, raita .achaar are just amazing If you ever visit Kartarpura, trying out Sindhu Ji's Fried Chanay is a must Because this combo with Raita, Achaar .

This behind me is Sufi Khoa Mutton Chana shop and the one's we tried right now were Sufi Ji's Khoa Mutton Chana and someone told us that this place is the old . authentic one and the one behind opened 5-6 months ago So there's a little confusion.

 Let's go inside .ask them Does it have mutton in it? No, it has Chicken Does it have mutton? Yes it's mixed with the gravy So how old is this shop? This is our 3rd generation which means 60-70 years old? Yes right after Pakistan was created This place was opened before I was born The other one's have opened recently How much is a plate? Rs.160 So we tried the newer place before but this one has been here since the creation of Pakistan and I think it would be unfair to not try this place out So let's try them out Very nice.

 The spices they are using are a bit different That other place had a different taste but both are good in their own place These are a bit spicy, the other one's were more creamy .milky We tried 3 different types of Chana.all three are good in their place Especially the Naans here. I love them I'm almost full now, so we'll go a bit further . see what's happening around This is the famous Kala Khan Nihari, which I've covered in a previous video You can check that out if you haven't already It's not even 10:30AM right now . 

this nihari has sold out They start selling very early in the morning /this is their speciality Their kitchen is open so I'll check that out The owner's not here? No Right infront of it is Sikandar Kala Khan Nihari This is Kala Khan Nihari;infront of it is Sikandar Kala Khan Nihari When did you guys open this place? We opened in Ramadan, now we're open daily Who's Sikandar Kala Khan? He is So you've named yourself after Kala Khan He's my teacher Kala Khan has passed away right? Yes You used to work there before?  This place is where Kala Khan used to lived And you guys have worked with him?
